轻型树脂传递塑膜工艺又称LRTM,是近年来发展迅速的低成本制造工艺。LRTM工艺在国外已经得到了非常广泛的应用,大有超过传统RTM工艺的趋势。而在国内,LRTM的应用还很有限。联洋公司通过英国CI公司引进了LRTM的制造工艺,是CI公司在中国的代理商,正致力于在国内推广这一工艺,从而取代手糊工艺在各方面领域的应用。
该公司生产的夹芯复合毡是RTM和LRTM工艺中非常重要的原料。该产品由合成的无纺芯材、正反面或单面加纤维短切层(不含粘结剂)或者纤维布、0°/90°或±45°纤维铺层经过缝编而成。产品可适用于LRTM、真空辅助RTM、注射成型及SRIM 等工艺,广泛用于机舱罩、汽车和火车零部件、小型游艇及其他多种复合材料产品的生产。

The automotive application of

The automotive application of GRP/foam composite was pioneered in the 70s by the author's former design firm, Quincy-Lynn Enterprises, Inc. The original composite was comprised of polyester resin and glass cloth laminations over a core of rigid urethane foam boardstock 350-001. Modern variations use an epoxy resin and carbon-fiber-cloth over urethane foam, like the composite used to build GM's Ultralite experimental passenger car. But despite the strength-to-weight advantage of newer materials, nothing matches the original polyester-resin/glass-cloth/urethane-foam composite for quickly producing a tough, lightweight product at rock-bottom costs 220-602. And it's a surprisingly simple system to use. The following description takes you step-by-step through a fiberglass/foam composite buildup. To illustrate the process, we've included photos taken at various stages during the construction of 220-601 Tri-Magnum; a high-performance three-wheeler built at Quincy-Lynn Enterprises. The techniques, however, will work equally as well in other applications.
